It was rough and brutal, and above all, entirely creative and the massive dose of fiction that I had been craving for YEARS.

Some wouldn't recommend Diary for first time Palahniuk readers, but I wouldn't be one to knock it off so easily. Misty Wilmonts character isn't only pessimistically funny, but she also has a soul to her - something most Palahniuk characters don't seem to have. Despite that, the story still has a decently happy ending.

Just don't read the last page until the very end. For serious, hey?...
