Description: Recommended, because I did enjoy reading this stuff 20 years ago. It's the kind of philosophyRecommended, because I did enjoy reading this stuff 20 years ago. It's the kind of philosophy incredibly arrogant 14 year old boys eat up. When you're convinced you're smarter than everyone around you, this is appealing stuff. Even though I find it distasteful now, I think Atlas Shrugged, We the Living, and The Fountainhead are a phase it probably does no real harm for kids to go through (Man, I feel old saying that!) as long as they continue to broaden their reading horizons and don't get stuck at this particular level of mental development ... then they'll turn into unbearably smug, close-minded Republican gasbags....
