Description: A nice critique of information-driven time, and how time is being continuously broken up intoA nice critique of information-driven time, and how time is being continuously broken up into smaller and smaller chunks, filled with disconnected, non-organic bits. The author's thesis is that in the industrial age, there was a lack of information; in the information age, there is a lack of freedom from information. The only shortfall in my mind is that the author is often too critical of the information age and not enough of previous ages; it sometimes seems like the author is longing for days-gone-by (which may or may not be as wonderful as they seemed at the time). Well worth the read, and an important reminder....
