How We Know What Isn't So

A very interesting look at mental illusions. Faults in human thought and reasoning that cause them to come to mistaken conclusions. For example why do we think that basketball players go on hot and cold streaks when analysis shows that they don't. How do we form our beliefs and opinions, and in which ways do we misconstrue the facts in order to keep them. The second half of the book examined particular "erroneous" beliefs, and I found that less useful. But learning some of the particular mistakes in reasoning people make was very enlightening.
