The Dog Listener
This book was a severe disappointment. The author attributes every dog behavior problem to dominance or a desire to form and reach the top of a hierarchy. There is little understanding of canine behavior to be gleaned from this book. Even separation anxiety, where a dog is overcome with anxiety when separated from the pack (family) s/he belongs to, was attributed to the dog being dominant.
Dogs are not out to usurp your power, humans. Their actions are not so sinister.
