Princess in Training
Book 6 in the Princess series. Lots of pop culture references. Written in a non-conventional style (diary entries, IM sessions, homework assignments in her planner, etc.) I didn't like the transphobic subplot (is Perin a boy or a girl, we should "pull...down...their...pants" and see--eek!) nor did I like the way that girls had no sexual agency (my college boyfriend wants me to "do it", he bought condoms, i don't want to think about it...)
