The story of The Wizard of Oz, from the wicked witch of the west's perspective. Great! One of my favorite books ever! A touching story, especially those of us who weren't the popular ones.

The book is what got me hooked to the musical, but overall, the musical is more enjoyable, in my opinion. This book does hit some sections that are unbearably boring. | |

i read this book, because i'm one of those people who like to read it before i see it and i've been begging my husband for 'wicked' tickets FOREVER! all i can say is that i definately hope the musical is better. some parts made me snore and others were good, overall I had to force myself to finish. |
