Minion: A Vampire Huntress Legend
A rocking/hip hop vampire killer sounded like the start of a good book, but I really couldn't get into this story. The writing style is dull: too much telling, not enough showing. Maybe my sales dollars will help persuade publishers to produce more books with ethnically diverse characters -- and promote them to a diverse audience -- but I'm not going to buy any more from this particular series.
