The White Dragon (Dragonriders of Pern Vol 3)
The best of the Pern series, this book brings together the excellent Dragonrider and Harper Hall series'. It is also a superb male coming-of-age novel. One of the best in the fantasy genre, and ironically penned by a women. It was the first Pern novel I read, and still my favourite.
