The World Is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-first Century

This book is riddled with assumptions that the author doesn't even realize he's making. He failed to back up his ideas with sufficient evidence, and the central theories of the entire book are simply stated, not even argued. This entire book was a waste of my time - without evidence these arguments are worthless and the author couldn't follow through with proper evidence. Even the title is unsubstantiated - the world doesn't look remotely flat and the author never gives me reason to question my belief that the world is unequal and unflat. In short, everything the authors claims in this book is suspect, and he failed to convince me of anything.
