Dune
Perhaps the best scifi book ever, perhaps one of the top ten *books* ever. As my buddy frank puts it "Dune is one of the few books that changed my life."
It will make you think about humanity, our place in the world, our potential, and if we are worth saving.
Also, it's a damn good story.

Totally fantastic... This is the first sci-fi I've read, and I haven't read many others, but this surely must be the best! Call me biased, but I still think so ;) Though funnily enough, when I tried reading the sequel, I couldn't get what what going on so I didn't finish it... it wasnt like this one.. maybe someday i'll pick it up again! | |
