Description: This is one of those backyard gardens tales, featuring the ever so clever and resourceful Mr.This is one of those backyard gardens tales, featuring the ever so clever and resourceful Mr. Fox who frequently outsmarted three most unpleasant farmers, namely Boggis, Bunce and Bean, each time he went up to their farms to get his family dinner everyday. The farmes did whatever he coud so they could catch Mr. Fox but everytime they failed.

One day, they ended up fed up with their failures on catching Mr Fox, so they tried to get him at their entrance hole to the Foxes den. Their plan wa sto shoot and kill as Mr. Fox shows himself, but the plan changed to digging him up. In result, they trapped Mr. Fox and his family and other "diggers" starve by the farmers action. Mr Fox could only make this up to his family and the rest of his friends by digging his way out of trouble. While he digs out his brilliant plan, the thre farmers just sits patiently at the gates.

Once again, an awesome story for kids, not quite a morally uplifting book but it's an awesome book I enjoyed reading and I be placing this in the list of books I would be reading to my future kids for them to enjoy this gem. Got to love the front cover. Interesting characters and great plots for kids to actually enjoy. ...

Description: Just the title, THE TWITS, attracted me to this particular book, and with an illustration inJust the title, THE TWITS, attracted me to this particular book, and with an illustration in the front cover, who wouldn't be curious! It was another coincidence when I picked up to read this book when it was Roald Dahl's Day!

THE TWITS is the story of a couple of, well, twits! Mr Twit is has a nasty, unhygenic, ugly beard and Mrs Twit could be recognized by her glass eye, who lived in a windowless house. They have four pet monkeys, and a huge dead tree where they catch the birds for their weekly bird pie. to past time, they love to play tricks on each other.

When enough is enough, the four monkeys strategize a plan to turn the tables on the Twits with an interesting plan.

I must admit, the best part of this book, was the part where it says, no matter how you look like physically, if you're a good person, it would shine through and that would makes you a beautiful person.

THE TWITS is a really good read and people in every ages should try pick up this book and take you time to read it. It is worth your time.

Description: I have to admit I actually have no idea this book exist. I actually thought the movie was anI have to admit I actually have no idea this book exist. I actually thought the movie was an original and not a book adaptation. Nevertheless it was a pleasant surprise to actually read this book and it wasn't a let down either since it's the first time ever for me to read one of Roald Dahl's work.

The main character is an orphaned 7 years old boy who lives with his grandmother who happens to know more than she should, of the secret world of witches. Not any other witches, children hating witches who wish to get rid of them from the face of the earth! He found himself trapped in a roomful of them while he was on a vacation with his grandmother. He watched as all of the describing given by his grandmother about witches comes true right infront of his eyes, while he is safely tucked behind the sceen out from their sight - but wait! They could sniff out children with their big noses!!! Cornered, they turned him into a mouse!! A talking mouse infact. Armed with that, a grandmother that's an expert with the knowledge of witches and himself being as clever as a mouse, they have quite an adventure trying to foil the witches evil scheme.

Quite an interesting story the characters pull you in with the pace of the plots. Something to add in your children's bookshelf, and I say you wouldn't be disappointed.
