Little Red Hen found some wheat on the ground and did all the work of growing it, cutting it, grinding it and even to the baker to bake it into bread all by herself because the other animals refuse to even help her to do all of the process above. but in the end when it's all ready to be eaten, the rest jumped up to offer to help her to eat it, but of course, Little Red Hen won't have it their way, for she has done all the work by herself with none of their help so she could do without them this time too...

This story teaches your kids the dangers of talking to a stranger. Although it's a bit scary, it's a good story for kids out there to alert them the dangers of the world involving strangers. The illustrations are beautiful and enjoyable for kids

It features a goat with seven kids (like the title suggested), warning them of not opening the door to anyone but her, because a wolf is looking any ways to gobble them up, by hook or by crook, while she's going away for a while into the forest to look for for food. As expected the wolf came and tried so many ways to tricked the kids to open the door. When he finally complished this, he gobbled them all up, except for the youngest kid, who managed to hide itself somewhere. Both of them found the wolf and a graphic scene of the mother goat cutting the wolf up to save her kids and replacing them with rocks before she sew it back up. ...

Description: This is one of the great fairy tales alternative stories available out there, and this onesThis is one of the great fairy tales alternative stories available out there, and this ones is based on the famous Cinderella tale with a twist. This is written in a post modern style of writing, making it easier to actually connect to the characters and much more enjoyable for the young adults to above ages to actually enjoy for what used to be just a children's fairy tale. The first time I'd picked this book up, I can't seem to put it down. It's humorous and a page turner.

The main character is Ella of Frell, who had been given the 'gift' of obedience (more of a curse) by a fairy named Lucinda, giving her no choice but to obey anybody who orders her around ever since she was a baby. The only ones other than her mother who knows about it is Mandy, their cook who is also Ella's fairy godmother, who has this thing againt doing any Big magic, which irked Ella most of the time due to her 'gift'.

When her mother died, her father remarried to Dame Olga who has two selfish idiotic daughters, Hattie and Olive, who sort of figure out they could take advantage of Ella's little flaw, though very clueless why she's easily to be made as their own personal slave. Then there's Prince Char, the heir of the kingdom. Both Ella and Char enjoyed each other's company many times they are together and apart. But of course the 'gift' had come to its worse moments in this book for Ella in the sense of relationship with others. She tried whatever it takes to track Lucinda to take 'gift' back.

Oh, if you're expecting it to be just like the movie, forget it. You be surprised of how different they are from each other in plot wise. But nevertheless, I've enjoyed both version. ...

Description: This is the 5th installment of the Series of the Unfortunate events for the ongoing adventuresThis is the 5th installment of the Series of the Unfortunate events for the ongoing adventures of the three Baudelaire Orphans namely Violet (the oldest and the inventor of the trio), Klaus (the genius) and Sunny (the youngest and the biter - yes she bites literally!) and since the death of their parents in an unexplained fire that consume their whole house, they are attending a boarding school. Mr Poe, their financial caretaker until Violet finally come to an age to the Baudelaire's fortune, have arranged them to attend Prufrock Preparatory School to further their studies.

The thought of being able to attend Prufrock Preparatory School would normally be ecstatic for the kids but upon their arrival, their miseries seems to be endless. They have an annoying Vice Principal Nero who are pretty irked off kids and insisted on every student to obey ridiculous rules that result with more ridiculous consequences if anybody would break it. Mandotary attendance to his 6 hour nightly recital was another thorn in their lives as he wasn't that good either. Instead of living in a comfortable living quarters, they are assigned to an uncomfortable shack with crabs and mosses, where Nero would call the Orphan Shack.

But in the midst of attending such an austere facility, they have a spark of hope when they meet Duncan & Isadora Quagmire, another set of orphans in the school, they new kind friends.

Of course that part of relieve isn't that comfortable enough, when they have to attend classes that teaches them nonsense syllabus and Count Olaf is in the corner, in the disguise of being a gym teacher called Genghis, and this time acted in such a way that would really take them off guard.

I love reading this installment since the author has finally cut out with chase of reintroducing the readers to the background of the Baudelaire Orphans, which of course gives new readers no good reason to skip the earlier installment o the series...
