While they are being polite, Squirrel Nutkin is prety much very naughty. He teases him with riddles, mostly ignore by the owl but when too much is too much one day, Mr. Brown punished Nutkins by having his tail torn off!

This is a cute and enjoyable little story. It also teaches kids to not to tease people too much that they are out of line. The illustrations are beautiful. The riddles are cute. The plot and charcaters draws you in. Children would love to read or to be read to with this funny little "tail". Don't miss out inadding this book to your children's reading list....

A definite page turner for me and I actually stayed up reading this one (which is rare for me when it comes to Harlequin books)

This features Samantha Brewster, a wild modern minded woman, who was set up for a blind date with Demetrios Karas in one of Samantha's sisters' party, but never did meet each other properly, leaving a whole set of problems throughout the book. Samantha was a translater and ironic part is Demetrios was in need of a skilled translater for a business transaction. From where Samantha saw it, Demetrios was trying to own her entire life. Gotta love the sexual tension they had for each other plus so much ego and pride in all the wrong places in this book. ...

Macy had reached to a point where she would do anything so she could pay for her daughter's transplant, so she's even willing to go through an artificial insemination, carry to full term where she could just hand the baby to him and they be off with their own life.

Both are survivors of their own dark past. Losing his pregnant wife to an accident was devastating for Thad and for Macy's husband left her for a jailbait, leaving a huge wound to heal and unknowingly they fill each other's void. As the contract progressed, they ended up getting married and things got too messy as both sides of the family gets involved with each other, weaving emotional intrude as time passes by.

I never thought after a long while I be picking up a Harlequin book after all of these years, but I did and I'm glad I did pick this one for my first read. This is page turning and fast pace with emotional turmoil, though ina couple of pages she lost me at where a character was at the moment but it was interesting read still....

A bit gruesome in some places, especially the parental abuse part and the cannibalism but it's a alright book. The portrays the story of two siblings, named Hansel and Gretel, who had to put up with their step mother who hated them and tried whatever it takes to remove them from their own home. With enough persuasion, she managed to get her husband to do so after a few tries. Being lost and hungry in a deep forest, they were tempted by the witch's home that's covered with sweets and cakes, only to be trapped and being held captives and fattened up so the witch could eat them up....
