Lots of pop culture references.  Written in a non-conventional style (diary entries, IM sessions, homework assignments in her planner, etc.)  I didn&#39;t like the transphobic subplot (is Perin a boy or a girl, we should &quot;pull...down...their...pants&quot; and see--eek&#33;) nor did I like the way that girls had no sexual agency (my college boyfriend wants me to &quot;do it&quot;, he bought condoms, i don&#39;t want to think about it...)
