After many years of hearing about how Mr. Carter was a bit simple in his thought, I enjoyed it enormously. I felt in particular he was able to balance the calling of his church and faith with his understanding the nation and diversity. It was a very good book, and illustrated to me that not all Americans are of the classical variety reflected in other nations.

Democrats today would do well to read this book; the current president is the antithesis of such unity, and America yearns for one who brings unity rather than hatred.
