Barry lambastes corporate greed and rabid consumerism AGAIN-- and it's still fresh and funny. Zephyr Holdings Company, the Omega Management System, and Alpha Project... all sound uncomfortably familiar. Protagonist Jones reveals that the managers upstairs are petty megalomaniacs and the man behind the curtain is a disinterested committee. I would suggest reading this as a palate cleanser after Barbara Ehrenreich's Bait and Switch, perhaps with a viewing of Mike Judge's Office Space for a chaser. ...
